Eid Mubarak...1st syawal.

Wish ya all Eid Mubarak.

this year i will be celebrating this festival in blanchardstown, Ireland. well i was celebrating it here last year. but this time, is not like i 'balik kampung'. coz i use to live in the city centre and kinda like 'balik kampung' when i came to blanch. this time i permanently lives here with my sisters family. the only family i have in Ireland, heheh. well obviously, most people here celebrate without their family or relatives around, just friends.
Anyway, on the last day of ramadhan, my sister prepared Mee Hoon Soto and Rendang Daging for our main dishes tomorrow and i spent the whole day helping my sister with a lot of thing especially the 'Bergedil' and it's so degil to make it. well, it actually not tht hard but since i had to make 2 bags of potatoe. took me the whole day to do it since morning.
we had takbir from house to house. since there too many people.. well too many malaysians now in Blanchardstown, so we devide in two group. we didn't joined the malaysians in tyrelstown like last year. instead we only combined with malaysians in waterville. there only 4 houses. but still finished at 11.30pm.
its gonna b a big day tomorrow. the Eid Fitr Prayer mostly start at 9.30am tomorrow. We decide to just go to Coolmine Sport centre to perform. It's not a mosque. it's a basketball court. but it's ok. as long as all the rule complied and followed. it doesn't matter. Even we heard tht Malaysian Hall under renovation. too bad for the new comers to gather and feel the experiance the gathering with all malaysian on the first day of syawal.anyway there'll b and even this weekend held in Astra Hall UCD where there's a budget of this event from the Malaysian Government i think. there will be a lot of variety Malaysian dishes. fyi, i was called by the chef to help them with the preparation of food for tht event. isn't tht cool. hehe. basically people will eat the food tht i cook. even thou i will get paid for the job but i feel like i'm contribute something for Malaysia. ok it's really late. its gonna b a big day tomorrow.
